Erika began her tenure with HHCLA as the Clinical Supervisor Consultant for MSW license eligible staff and one year later promoted to her current position of Clinical Director of Behavioral Health Programs. Erika has over six years of experience in working with homeless Transitional Age Youth, children, families, adults and older adults with psychiatric disorders. Prior to joining HHCLA, she served over 5 years at Pacific Clinics where she began her career as a mental health therapist, promoting to Team Supervisor. She also has experience working with Victims of Crime and providing evidence based practices to survivors of complex trauma. Mrs. Aguirre-Miyamoto earned her Master in Social Work at California State University, Los Angeles. She has been a guest lecturer at Cal State Los Angeles and on a Multicultural Perspective on Domestic Violence Panel.
