Amber is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been employed with Homeless Health Care Los Angeles (HHCLA) for the past 6 years. She began her tenure with HHCLA as the Program Director for the Housing for Health program and quickly promoted to Director of Operations and Programs. Amber has over 19 years of experience in working with homeless Transitional Age Youth, families, adults and older adults who struggle with mental illness and addiction, primarily in the areas of housing, community integration, treatment and forensic psychiatric hospitals. Prior to joining HHCLA, she served over 9 years at Pacific Clinics where she began her career as a mental health worker, promoting to housing coordinator, housing supervisor and Program Director. She also served progressively as a forensic counselor and social serviced designee at Foothill Mental Health and Rehabilitation Center. Ms. Roth earned her Master of Science in Criminal Justice at California State University Long Beach and her Master in Social Work at California State University Northridge. She has extensive knowledge and experience in program development, management, behavioral health, housing, and wellness programs. In 2013, She also graduated from the UCLA/Johnson & Johnson Health Care Executive Management Program and completed the USC Price School Leadership program in 2015.
